Apple Delight

 


6 servings: 0 mg. sodium per serving

1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup unsalted butter or margarine
4 or 5 tart apples

Prep. Instructions

1. Sift flour, sugar and cinnamon into a bowl. Using a fork, work butter or margarine into flour mixture until crumbly.
2. Lightly grease a 7-inch round baking dish (3 inches deep).

Cooking Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Peel and core apples. Slice apples into the baking dish. Cover evenly with flour mixture.

3. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until apples are tender and the top is lightly browned. Serve hot, or cool and refrigerate to serve cold.
