Barbecued Meatballs

 

Barbecued Meatballs


4 servings: 257 mg. sodium per serving

1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 cup low sodium breadcrumbs
2 small cloves garlic, chopped fine
2 Tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup low-sodium Barbecue Sauce

Prep. Instructions

1. Mix the beef well with the next 6 ingredients. Shape into 12 firm meatballs.
2. Skewer meatballs onto 4 (12 inch) skewers, three meatballs to each skewer.

Cooking Instructions

1. Preheat a barbecue grill to medium (350 degrees).

2.  Place meatballs on the grill,  Baste meatballs with half of the barbecue sauce on the top after putting them on the grill.  Cook 7 minutes; turn meatballs over and baste with the remaining barbecue sauce on the top.  Cook 7 minutes more;  then turn one more time.  Cook another 9 minutes, or until done.  Serve.
